SHOWDOWN IS ON AS R&G ROOKIES’ TROPHY REACHES FINAL ROUND!

The battle to be crowned the 2017 R&G Rookies’ Trophy Champion comes down to the final round of the season this weekend at Brands Hatch. Ducati Cup Champion Joe Collier currently holds top position but all eyes are on Motostar Standard rider Victor Rodriguez and KTM Cup star Fenton Seabright to see if they can clinch the title.

Despite the Ducati Performance TriOptions Cup series not racing at Brands Hatch, 2017 Champion Joe Collier enjoys a very healthy lead at the top of the R&G Rookies’ Trophy standings, meaning it will take nothing less than maximum points from Victor Rodriguez or Fenton Seabright if they are to claim the grand prize.

Now in its third year, the trio of riders are competing for the biggest prize in the history of the R&G Rookies’ Trophy as the overall winner will secure £500 cash and £500 product support from R&G as well as a set of race tyres from the Official Tyre Supplier Pirelli and a top-of-the-range LS2 crash helmet.

R&G UK Sales Manager Alan Garrett added, “After a season long battle, it’s exciting to see the 2017 R&G Rookies’ Trophy come down to the final round this weekend. Whilst it does look like Joe Collier has one hand on the title, we’ve seen plenty of times anything can happen in racing so it’s certainly still to play for!”
